In perfect conditions tonight, we had some superb performances from the Fendalton children competing in the 38 finals across two and a half hours in our Athletic Sports Finals night. Every child who made finals tonight is to be congratulated on their effort and determination to make it to that level.
A number of records were broken and this shows just how exceptional the performances were. It was a thrill to have FOS old boy Corey Anderson present the trophies and ribbons. Corey is the youngest cricketer ever to be contracted to NZ Cricket, is a member of the Senior Canterbury Cricket team and he has a FOS Discus record and a cup named after him.

Thanks to the PTA for their food stall, to all the teachers who gave up their time to attend and all parents, family members and supporters who supported the children.
