Ski Team 3rd= in Canterbury

Well done to the Ski team who took 3rd= in the Canterbury Primary Schools' competition on Saturday at Mt. Cheeseman. Below is a report from team manager, Di Cooke.....

"After the 3 postponements we were rewarded with a fantastic day and we all had such a good time. Fendalton School were placed 3rd equal with our top three placing giving us 10 points Rosa F- 2nd ( in Year 1-2 girls) Nick C - 1st (in Year 1-2 boys) George C - 5th (in Year 3-4 boys) We also grabbed the Booby prize of the day when Sam M wiped out the last gate and the time
keeper!"

Hockey Champions and Skiing NOW on Saturday

Congratulations to the A Hockey team who became the Primary Sports Canterbury Champions today with a last second goal in the final against Elmwood to Hamish F. - literally as the bell for full-time was being rung! The team has gone through the whole season undefeated and the B team has only had one loss all season also.

The Primary and Intermediate Ski races at Mt. Cheeseman, that have been postponed three times, are now on SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER - all other details the same as before. For more information please contact team manager, Di Cooke. cookejd@xtra.co.nz
