Individual Triathlon 2010


Over 135 competitors competed in our Individual Triathlon today in beautiful weather reaching 30 degrees later in the day. All competitors were superb and it was great to see so many parents and other supporters cheering them on. Ben Marshall-Lee was a record breaker this year and managed to beat Oliver Hobb's 2003 Senior Boys' record. Ben recorded 14.31 and the old record was 14.48. Others were close to records also. Thanks to Ted Pearce and Kelly from the Canterbuy Tri. club and the CBHS boys who helped out. For full results see:

Trophies (see above) and ribbons (first three in each age group) will be awarded at the full school Assembly on Friday 5th March at 10.00am in the Hall.

"It was very exhausting doing the triathlon but it felt great when you finished." Milly aged 8.
" I really enjoyed handing out the lollies at the end and seeing people finish." Jordan aged 9.
"I think that the hardest part was the run because I felt sick in the middle of it because I had gulped a heap of water in the pool."Josh aged 9.
"This was my first time doing it and I felt really exhausted. I felt proud when I had finished it." Ethel aged 9.
