Championship Swimming Heats

It was great to see so many children being "Dream Makers" and trying out at the swimming heats yesterday. It was optional for children but the pool was packed under some sunny skies for some great racing. A BIG THANK YOU to all children who had a go and to the parents, teachers and children who helped out.

Stella C was a real star in the Senior Girls, going under record time in two events and being fastest qualifier in all three disciplines. The Senior Boys' was more open with Moss and Jeffrey both taking a top qualifier spot and a second with Ben H and Ben ML being the only two to qualify for all three finals. In the Junior Boys, defending Champion Sam T is facing a strong challenge from Ben W. Likewise in the Junior Girls, two times defending Champion Annabel N is facing a stern challenge from Zoe B with both girls going under record times in two events and just a fraction out in the other.
