Athletic Sports Results

The results from the 2009 Athletic Sports are on the Home Page of the School Web Site.

Milo Cricket (and Tee Ball) Teams Unbeaten this week!

Well done to our four Milo Cricket teams who all won their games this week against Roydvale teams. Red won yesterday and today our Blue, Black and White teams all had wins at Roydvale School, Fendalton School and Jefferys Reserve.

Our Blue team had a convincing win in their first official outing in the "Red" (A) Grade of the Milo Cricket competition run by Cricket Canterbury. Roydvale batted first and only reached the boundary a couple of times and were hampered by losing nine wickets in their innings of 7 runs. The Blue team had some excellent bowling and were very agile in the field with Captain Alex H. setting the example. In reply to Roydvale's score, the Blue team came out firing with Quinn hitting two fours from the first two balls. Harry cleared the boundary twice and our top batting effort came from our two Year 5's - Ben H and Oscar. The team finished on 92 runs from their ten overs to win convincingly.
